Intro to using strobes

Expanding your lighting setup can be very helpful for you and your photos. There are three major categories for lighting. Which is Light sources. modifiers, and grips or strands. These three each have there own way of working with light.

When it comes to light sources it falls into one out of the two categories there. Which is a kit with a flash head or one with monolight. Light modifiers are used more compared to the others. These lights have umbrellas to cover and bring that soft light in.

Grips and strands are used for supporting light sources. There are two types of light strands. Like lightweight strands and C strands. With shooting just make sure that your lighting is suited for you.
